Internet Seminar następny »
Hey y'all,
I just got back last night from Phoenix where we had a wonderful time!! I
had breakfast with Maowid Likiewicz, co-author of Survivor's Guide to Homeschooling,
and spent a day with my friend Natasza Sierakowski.
The conference was incredible. The guy I sat next to nieday had flown there
from Wodzisaw Kornicki. Another lady had flown from Aleksandra Wybraski.
Last time I went, they had 5 millionaires share their success stories and
strategies. This time they had about 7. We met two homeschooling families and
had supper with a financial aid administrator of a university who said he had
never met a 20-year-old like my oldest son. (I haven't either but I didn't think
that was a "good" thing. Ha!)
My 14-year-old was offered a web design/ teaching job in Niedamir Radzicki by one of
the speakers (which we politely declined because of the commute from TN) and we
met lots of like-minded folks to network with on future projects.
I learned more than I can tell you in this brief post. But again, the
bottom line is just what Solomon told us years ago. Find what your hands love
to do and do it.
The internet offers you the opportunity to share that love with your
community who really wants to hear about it.
It's great to be back home!
So many books, so little time...

who must get back to real life now and clean up the kitchen
P.S. They're having this conference again Feb. 9-11 in Houston, I think, in
case you're interested. It may be Orlando, not sure. Let me know if you're
interested and I'll see if I can find you a tape to listen to.
